Where do we get our data?

Our website provider, BIRDVIEW Technologies has teamed up with Fast Forward, Inc to integrate community and school data with our listings and to provide a Zip Code based set of information tools. The information is compiled from nearly 100 public and private sources which are regularly analyzed, on a year-round basis. Some sources are free, and we pay for a number of others. Even the best data available has errors and omissions. Fast Forward works diligently to find and correct using standard demographic and internally developed methodologies.

How often is our Community Data updated?

Fast Forward, maintains the databases used to provide our community information on a continual basis. The data is updated as often as new and relevant information is available. For example, the FBI releases new crime data once a year in the late fall. Home price and other economic indicators are updated once per quarter. Some categories which change slowly, such as universities or cultural indicators like symphonies or art museums, may be updated every two years. Because Fast Forward\'s studies are under continual scrutiny by local media and government officials, our data must be the most accurate possibly available.
